It’s the follow up from the real Vanilla Ice ad from last year, but for us it doesn’t work at all. We kinda enjoyed the one with a microphone tossing Mr Ice. This version feels like it’s trying to hard perpetuate the love from before. [thanks Amy]
Vanilla Ice for Castle Lite

We haven’t been watching too much 7de Laan lately, so for the past week everyone has been nattering about Vanilla Ice this, Castle LIte that…and we still hadn’t seen the ad anywhere.
Now we have it and have been studying Mr Ice for brief intervals over the last 5 minutes. As far as we know Castle Lite is not an ‘ice’ beer [like Rolling Rock or Molson], but in a very don’t-worry-too-much-about-the-Vanilla-Ice-gimmick, it makes perfect sense. Drink the beer ice cold [as indicated] and the party is on. It’s on even more if you supplement the alcohol volumes with shots of Jagermeister, but you’re good to go.
