Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Flash Mob
Posted on 21. Jul, 2011 by Jonathan Cherry.
T-Mobile, amongst countless others overseas, have been doing flash mobs as part of their advertising mix for ages, but the occurrence of theĀ strange spontaneous gathering in South Africa has been rather limited and frankly lame.
By the time the World Cup gets here, think we’re going to be a little bit over hearing Shosholoza which is a bit sad. All the same – PE is showing their PE-ness.

In NYC wearing pants is optional
Posted on 20. Jan, 2010 by Jonathan Cherry.
We don’t think not wearing pants in Claremont is such a good idea [it's usually a bit nippy here in Mordor], but in New York City it’s something of a growing tradition. Plus people in New York are so stuck in their personal bubbles they hardly even notice or give a damn that the person sitting next to them is pantless.
Black Eyed Peas ‘flash mob’ on Oprah
Posted on 02. Oct, 2009 by Jonathan Cherry.
21 000 dancers got the feeling from the Black Eyed Pease on the Oprah show recently in Chicago when they performed one of the biggest dance ‘flash mobs’ to celebrate the 24th season of her show.
To be honest – this wasn’t really a ‘flash mob’ in the true sense of the definition. It’s a pretty well-choreographed dance routine that just so happened to lok spontanious, but it’s cool to watch all the same.
