Nike: 5 Extra Years

It’s probably just us, but we find this Nike ad unnecessarily alarmist. Yes, perhaps children are not going outside and playing in the street because society is racked by fear that they may get lured by a paedophile offering them crack. Yes, kids are addicted to junk food, mainly because their parents are too lazy and guilty to actually cook healthy meals that are enjoyed by the family around a table.
But so much so that we have to now in addition add even more guilt and fear into the mix because kids are watching a little too much TV or eating a bit too much KFC popper things? Leave the kids alone. If they don’t feel like playing outside then why force them. Leave outside for the adults.
