I like Brian.
He represents a sometimes needed voice of reason.
He also reminds me that people do not ‘consume’ advertising, they ‘engage’ with what entertains, informs or educates them.

Marketing these days can be rather tricky. People and businesses are cutting back and not paying much attention to advertising or marketing schemes because they figure it doesn’t affect them anyways. This is why it is so important to reach out to a targeted audience and focus on clientele, or potential clientele, who would be interested in your product/company. Target marketing can be accomplished many ways, such as advertising, indirect marketing, or even email marketing. Being able to get across to the consumer in any way during these hard times is the ‘correct marketing ploy’.
