Kulula plane branding: Flying 101
Posted on 03. Feb, 2010 by Jonathan Cherry in Branding
Our understanding is that aircraft paint is damn expensive. Probably because is not such a great idea to be bulleting through the atmosphere at the speed of sound with a squashed pigeon still attached to the edge of a wing – so the fancy paint eliminates that unfortunate situation.
So it’s encouraging then that Kulula are taking the opportunity to use the expensive paint to get a smile out of their passengers. At least you’re fully briefed as to what’s going to be happening within the pressurised tube before you step inside.

The Green is paint and the lettering is cut Vinyl. But of the highest grade.

Love this design. Now if only their in-flight service was as unique!

Brilliant! But I wonder if its good enough to lift your mood after a 3 hr delay at 12 at night.

let’s be honest, things done in the name of happiness and smiles deserve a bit more attention. dig this! other than that, a bit of in-flight nandos would be quite fitting
