The Lego Kitchen
Posted on 23. Oct, 2009 by Jonathan Cherry in Design
If your old Lego bricks are just gathering dust in the attic and / or firing one every now and again as a multi-coloured anti-cat projectile is wearing a little thin, then how about stealing everybody else’s old bricks and turning then into a kitchen.
Munchausen, a duo formed by Parisian designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti, took a bold approach with their own kitchen by venturing to IKEA for the basic kitchen island and then spending the next week covering it with more than 20,000 pieces by another Scandinavian brand, Lego.
We want one now. We’re going to transform the office into a giant Lego office with plastic computers that will probably work better than the dodgy plastic ones we use now.

Wow! That must have took a very long time to complete. That island makes your eyes open wide looking at it. Very unique though.
