I remember the space shuttle in the movie “5th Element”. That shuttle has bunk beds that are compact only one person can fit in. But that is also far from reality.

I would never really appreciate having a sleeping space while on board. I never sleep during airplane travel. But these seats will surely help those who likes sleeping while traveling on air.

If BA or KLM decided to revamp all of their planes travelling from CT to Vancouver with this design I honestly think I would be the happiest girl alive. It’s the least they could do…I mean geez you pay enough already…surely something like this isn’t too much to ask. LoL

I think they are able to use up some of the luggage storage area for more people because it seems there is space for your bag at your feet – so maybe the design is not too far fetched – but i dont think ryan air is going to jump at this one!

The new Airbus (I think) is doing great things with the whole ‘modular’ approach to seating vs. the old ‘row-based’ one. Was it on your site that I saw it?

What I do love, though, is the innovation of going double volume. So simple and effective – why has it not been done before? Kudos to the airline that picks up on this and runs with it…
