All Blacks will soon have the names of their fans stitched into their rugby jerseys

Allblacks

Did you know - that the All Blacks are so dedicated to their fans that they are inviting them to submit their names, which will...

...literally be engraved onto a thread that will form part of an All Blacks jersey. Fans can submit their name, which will be etched via nanotechnology onto the Adithread, as well as sharing their ‘This is Not a Jersey’ mantra via the website www.thisisnotajersey.com.
The thread will be stitched into the fern badge of an All Blacks jersey which will be presented to captain Richie McCaw, and the virtual thread with all of the submitted names is be available to view online. [via]

Nice idea - too bad the entire population are now going to be feeling every single big hit Bakkies Botha dishes out on Richie McCaw when he returns from injury, as a result [voodoo doll style].
