Collective user-generated gum graffiti

In an effort to advertise themselves and help Australians stick their used chewing gum in a place other than the pavement...

....Hubba Bubba put up fun, interactive “paint by numbers”-style posters that use different flavours of chewing gum as the colour palette, encouraging people to become artists rather than litterbugs. [via]

Perhaps we could find a similar artistic use for cigarette butts that populate our pavements.

It will probably look awesome, but somehow that really freaks me out.

Somehow it seems less gross as a collective public piece than making your own at home, like this one.
