With all the Chinese poisoning that’s been going on this year, we’re a little surprised that there are still children left who play with toys.

That’s maybe why the list of ‘hot-right-now’ toys for boys and girls in 2007, looks very similar to the top ten list from 1983.
Apart from the Nintendo Wii, which cracks the nod at number 3 for boys and 7 for girls, the same old favourites like Lego and Barbie are still in the mix.
We’re wondering if the people these toys were bought for were actually children, or adults who have just never grown up.

Here’s the list Santa’s sick of seeing:

Following are this year’s top 10 holiday wish-lists:

GIRLS:

1. Barbie

2. Bratz

3. Dolls (generic)

4. Dora the Explorer

5. Disney Princess

6. Disney Hannah Montana

7. Nintendo Wii

8. Webkinz

9. Elmo

10. American Girl

BOYS

1. Transformers

2. Video Games

3. Nintendo Wii

4. Cars (generic)

5. Spider-Man

6. LEGOs

7. Thomas the Tank Engine

8. Xbox 360

9. Elmo

10. Remote Controlled Vehicles

Our ‘toy to watch’ in 2008 – is Webkinz (the fluffy animal with an online social networking profile). it caused loads of noise this year in the US and could be making its way to SA soon.

The US Toy safety group has launched their top 10 worst toys for 2007. This list is a good comparison for the list of top 10 good toys. The list seems to be related to toy hazards and not design.
    1. Go Diego Go Animal Rescue boat by Fisher Price. Contains lead paint.
    2. Sticky Stones by GeoCentral. The magnetic stones will stick to each other within the gut and cause serious infection and death if swallowed.
    3. Jack Sparrow’s Spinning Dagger by Zizzle. Sharp edges will remove eyes or cause other facial damage.
    4. Dora The Explorer Lamp by Funhouse. This will cause electric shocks and burns during play.
    5. Lil Giddy Up Horse by Sassy Pet Saks, Douglas. Made from fibers that will cause chocking
    6. Spider man 3 Goblin Sword by Hasbro. Ridgid plastic edges will cause serious injury during play.
    7. Hip Hoppa by Spin Master and Vivid Imaginations. Non expert use will cause injury to head and neck resulting in paralysis and death.
    8. B’Loonies Party Pack by Ja-Ru.Pack contains a balloon gel to blow up balloons. If the air is sucked back in through the tube you will pass out from chemical ingestion.
    9. My Little Baby Born by entertainment. The small parts like dummy can be swallowed can cause chocking.
    10. Rubber band Shooter by simple toys. This needs no explanation, just look around the office , will you buy anyone this toy to shook at your kids.
Ho ho ho, it is off to shop we go. To purchase toys for our kids put out by companies designed to kill them. Enjoy your Christmas shopping.

I love webkinz I am a kid and i do sugggest them for your child os children they’re meant fir kids about 4-14 and are so much fun! I have twenty. here i’ll tell you something about them. ok, well you get this little stuffed animal there are webkinz and they are priced about 12.00-15.00 dollers and there are lil’ kinz they do they same thing webkinz do but they are just smaller and olny about 10.00 dollers, but anyways when you buy one they come with a sealed tag and you takeit home and open it and there are numbers and letters. If it is your 1st webkinz you have to make an account.you enter the code and and give it a name say if it is a boy or girl and get a screen name. After you use the code you can not give it to a friend or reuse it because it will be invaild, although you need to keep you code incase you need to change your password.anyway when you are done adopting you pet you can play with it some things you can do are: Furnish your home, Take your pet to school, take it to the docter for a regular check up or if it get sick, look at all the new things happing, bathe your pet, feed your pet, talk to other pets (safly. Ganz is very safe and you are limited on what you can say so parents know need to worry), invite other webkinz pets over to your house, buy things with kinzcash, make kinzcash (money) by playing games with other webkinz,or alone, get a job, do daily acctivets, do hourly acctivites, go gem hunting, watch T.V., dress your pet(s),cook, and HAVE FUN! there are much more things you can do but thoose are some of the main things. Ganz also makes things such as webkinz mouse pads, clothes for you stuffed animal webkinz lip gloss and things, charms and other stuffed animals besides webkinz! your kids will love these pets and will feel like the parent it will show them responblity and care for others. And think if you are busy just log on to webkinz and have you kids play and it will keep them busy while you aare doing something. You can have all of this for 10.00 or a little more! Have fun I hope you liked my artical thing! byebye
