After months of teasers, speculating and waiting...the much hyped Sony Bravia rabbit ad is complete and available for viewing. Here it is:

Impressed? Blown away? Need to catch your breath for a minute or two?
Ok - so the entire thing is shot using a 'stop-motion' filming technique [similar to that one MTN ad]. Which basically means that it was shot with still cameras and spliced together in post production.
The music is courtesy of the Rolling Stones [BTW we're not too crazy about this tune. Not sure why...we just wouldn't have picked it] and two and half tonnes of plasticine was used to make hundreds of bunnies and stuff.
The rabbits are different...and colourful, it's well made and loads of fun, but it is perhaps a bit confusing when waves and cubes spring up all over the place.
Overall it is another masterful addition to balls and paint and rest assured it'll win plane-loads of awards. They may even sell a couple of TVs because of it too.

Yeah, it's good. Completely agree with the soundtrack though. Pity, as the other ads had much better scores.

This commercial is exceptional, Bravia has a wonderfull set of commercials, each one beating up the previous.
I can even say that this is not just an Ads, is a piece of art! :-)
But what a polemic with stealing material huh? Makes us wonder where did creativity go...

This song was used for an iMac commercial, about 8 years ago, when they started coming in different colors... It is a beautiful film, but as a commercial, not impressed.
