Bread in a can

Mmmm – there’s nothing as satisfying as that first morning can of bread. Crack that tin can and release the freshly baked aroma of wheat and water that smacks of metal.
Sounds delicious hey?
Well it’s not surprising then that canned bishoujo bread is now available at certain train stations in Japan
As an added bonus it’s available in strawberry, green tea, butter, raisin, blueberry and milk flavour – just in case you were wondering if they’d taken care of your usual preference.
Will it catch on here? We wouldn’t bet the game on it.

This is not completely new to me. When I was a recruit in the east-german army 30 years ago, canned bread was very commonly in use, especially when we camped somewhere in the bush. At that time I thought, that every soldier in the world has to gorge this garbage.
