Nixon Peabody hit viral gold...and then start acting like a bunch of lawyers
So here's the thing - a big American law firm, called Nixon Peabody [say that 20 times fast after 2 double Klippies and Coke] writes and records a little pop song to fire up some company love amongst their staff.
The firm gets voted as one of the best companies to work for in the US...and naturally the silly song gets leaked on the Internet.
[BTW - did you notice how big the man's hand are in the photo taken from the Nixon Peabody website? The size of his fingers are enough to make a lesbian's eyes water]
Before we go any further - please review the rather catchy pop melody here. [needless to say - it's a corker]
Anyhow - discovering that they were now famous on the Internet, the lawyers did as their instinct would dictate. They tried to control the 'situation' by sending out legal notices and as a result...now look like a bunch of tired, boring, dull lawyers.
The best bit is that in a statement detailing reasons for the legal cover up, the company states:
"This song was put together in celebration of Nixon Peabody's Fortune 100 'Best Places to Work' recognition. Nixon Peabody aims to be the best law firm to work with and the best law firm to work for. Fun is not prohibited here."
Sad, but true. Now everyone is pointing more [smaller] fingers at them and even their existing dull staff don't want to work there anymore.
What a crying shame - a law firm with a sense of humour would have been such a breath of fresh air. [thanks Jack]
