Aston Martin claim Britain’s ‘coolest brand’ title

What a pity – Aston Martin has been awarded the title of the ‘coolest brand’ in Britain.
Now clearly there has to be an issue with what is defined as being cool in the island kingdom. Calling a timeless, classic, stylish vehicle like the Vanquish S ‘cool’ is like throwing a bucket of pig swill over the car and getting Paris Hilton to wash it off while munching a greasy burger.
It’s just not right.
There’s nothing ‘cool’ about hand-stitched leather selected from beer-fed baby cows or polished walnut paneling harvested from the very last wild forests in Europe. Please no – say it isn’t true.
Places two through ten went to:
2. iPod
3. YouTube
4. Bang & Olufsen
5. Google
6. Sony PlayStation
7. Apple
8. Agent Provocateur
9. Nintendo
10. Virgin Atlantic
Whatever….
Then again, apparently gorillas playing the drums to an old Phil Collins track is also cool over there.

lest we forget, Spur was named as one of SA’s top brands not so long ago…

And what have you got?
A big hole in the ground.
Get over yourself.
We did.
Incidentally, it is very cool.
Sorry it dismays you but there it is – unequivocal.

Are you mental? AM is very cool. Maybe you’re just not intelligent to tell that cool is a good thing. If you have an issue with cool, then start watching James Bond movies, and then go to Youtube and listen to growl of the V12, take good notice of the sex appeal of a car like an Aston. If you still think it’s not cool…then go shoot yourself in the foot, and never drive a car again.

Paul, I would have to say you are being a bit audacious; however, I tend to agree.
