Caltex makes you go longer and…uh…further

Flying past a Caltex service station the other day – we had to stop and have a closer look at this rather odd, NSFW promotional image for fuel (which apparently, magically delivers better fuel efficiency for your vehicle).
It can’t just be us that finds this just a tad disturbing and bordering on ASA-banning fodder.
Did nobody in the Caltex marketing department do a quick ‘drive-by’ test to observe what kind of possible brand associations a small man tugging on a long yellow stick may possibly communicate to the unassuming motoring public?
