Posted on 01. Jun, 2007 by Jonathan Cherry in Streetflava
A warm welcome to our newest Cherryflava advertiser – and yip, it’s that time of the year again.
The annual Big Blue Makhulu Polane T-shirt design
competition which is now officially open for entries.
If you missed out last year – here’s the lowdown.
Makhulu Polane (loosely translated means Big Idea) aims to discover new, original,
South African talent. The competition is open to anyone who feels they have a t-shirt design which is unique
and quintessentially South African.
The 2007 design theme is: What is your interpretation of ‘AfroKaaner’?
Aspiring designers must submit their designs via the
Big Blue website by 15 July 2007, [and here's the all important money shot] the winning designer will take away R20 000
in cash and their t-shirt design will be sold in all Big Blue and Kitsch &
Kool stores for two months.
Big shout out and mad props also to this week’s Cherryflava network sponsor Nokia who have kept us honest and our various homepages hi-tech with their new N95 pocket communicator. Rich…! we got a feeling this might be one just for you.
