I've flown Mango Airlines, 1time & Kulula. They're pretty much the same, except Kulula has the edge because of their onflight humour. Mango flights are only better when they're cheaper.

And on another note, at least as far as FLYSAA is concerned and I am sure that Kulula and 1Time are the same, You have never been able to cancel a ticket. In fact Mango at least allow you to change your booking (which flysaa never has) and you can merely change you flight on the site without speaking to a sales rep like the other budget airlines.
There is a change fee and usually the flight is more expensive but as we know it is BUDGET AIRLINE!

I have flown about 4 flights with the new airline and have never had a bad experience. Their 737's sure feel a hellava lot safer and newer than the MD80/90's that Kulula and 1Time are flying and I have always had a suspicion that ACSA give SAA (and now Mango) preferential take off slots during heavy traffic periods, so although there have been delays I'm sure (mostly due to their heavy flight schedule I think in the long run they will have less delays than their partners.
What has not been a good sign is how empty the planes have been. They have obviously stuck to a strict pricing structure so as soon as the tickets went to R999 people just stopped buying. It would have been much more intelligent to just make it all very cheap at the beginning to get the traffic in the plane.
