Tower records – the big America music retailer – is bankrupt and has gone out of business.

Its not entirely surprising considering that most music is either stolen, or shared or downloaded off the Internet these days.

The question is; how much longer are local physical music retailers going to exist as the availability and access to broadband in South Africa spreads?

Its not just music retailers that should be paying attention here. Is the new world of business going to be leaving your brand behind?
