Stop talking crap

Every industry has it’s problems.
In the marketing world, some of the biggest problems involve the use of an abnormal amount of PowerPoint presentations and very big words that confuse people.
The theory behind the addiction to these ‘weapons’, is that marketing people are not confident enough in what they do to let anybody else into their little secret.
The truth is that successful marketing is so damn simple – it scares even marketing people.
Here’s how to do it:
1. make a killer product or deliver a service that’s better and different to anything else out there,
2. hire people that are as pumped about selling the product as you are,
3. tell a couple of other people about it,
4. answer the telephone as if it were your first sale from there on.
Keep it simple and please stop the PowerPoint.
