Skype to sell music online

Skype_2Tired of waiting for Apple iTunes to make a decision about coming to South Africa?

Forget bloody iTunes - Skype has secured a deal with EMI which will see the online maverick sell music downloads from their online store. In the Skype deal, the company will have rights to sell music globally rather than a country-by-country set up that exists with iTunes. [via]

That means that you might finally be able to access legal music downloads in South Africa to drop onto your long suffering iPod - without having to resort to that crap Musica online store effort.
