Clyde Rathbone’s mommy
Posted on 20. Aug, 2004 by Cassandra in Totally Whack
The Springbok’s should consider themselves warned. If they hurt young Clyde Rathbone in tomorrow’s Tri-nations crunch match in Durban…his mommy is going to sort them out.
In a letter written to SA Rugby magazine…Clyde mommy wrote:
Now we have SA Rugby not only name-calling the SA U21 captain, Palooka of the Month, but, astoundingly, you incite the public to violence.
You encourage your readers to give Clyde ‘the warm welcome he deserves on the day when Rathbone runs out onto a South African rugby field…’ and to ‘get those naartjies ready.’ Is this not grossly irresponsible?
Will SA Rugby foot the bill for the increased security measures which now may be necessary?
The spoilt brat seems not to have grown up. Or are you man enough to apologise?
Yeeehaaah…after that, the Springboks don’t have to punch and stamp on spineless Clyde…his mommy just did it for us. Watch out for his mom’s swinging handbag at the match though.

Who the hell likes Clyde Rathbone anyway?
Aussies hate him because he has South African blood (infact, australians hate the wallabies), South African hate him for choosing the gold wallaby jumper instead of the GREEN AND GOLD, and New Zealanders can’t be too partial about him.
The English just dont give a flying hoot because the are the World Champs… and have South Africans of their own, so do the French… infact, which top rugby side doesn’t have a South African in their side?
France has Liebenberg
New Zealand- Merthens
Australia- Vickerman and Rath-bonehead
England(Invincible World Champions- Abbot, Catt, Stevens
Wales- Marinos
Scotland- Roland Reid
USA- uhh, Potchesftrom XV
If you wanna win the World Cup, you must have a South African in your side…

For your information Australia LOVES Clyde Rathbone. You all make me sick to think you wish harm to another human being just because your spitefull about losing them. south african super 12 teams blatently obvious high and dangerous tackles against clyde rathbone truly are a reflection of poor sportsmanship that should be eliminated from the game of rugby. Clyde Rathbone truly did make the right desition to get away from these disgusting attitudes. GO THE WALLABIES, GO THE BRUMBIES AND GO CLYDE RATHBONE.

The Spring Boks are a bunch of pansies anyway. Why should Clyde want to play for the most hated team in the world? And play on the side of RICKI JANUARIE and WHATEVER-HIS-FUCKING-FIRST-NAME-IS Burger. Those are the two ugliest shits in the world. When I see them on tv, I want to actually reach into the tv and fucking kick them in the head. If you don’t want to encourage violence, don’t let those two motherfuckers play.
Watch the Spring Boks play, they are the biggest cheaters, the only decent guy being Percy Montgomery.
Your angry comments are only targeted to Clyde because he’s an awesome player and you’re just pissed off you lost him! Hey, did you guys see those tries he scored against South Africa? SUCKED IN!!!!!
AND Australia loves Clyde, he’s one of the selected few who’s in the Qantas commercial!

Good old South Africans: you truly are a bunch of sore losers.
Never has a country had so much potential in rugby union, but when it comes to the crunch you fade away to nothing. How many Super 12s have you won lately?
Clyde is a legend, and instead of picking on him, you should be having a good hard look at the arseholes in SA Rugby who let him go to Australia in the first place. Anyway, your loss is our gain!

Yeah, it’s interesting that the last two South African supporters who posted their comments are retards who can’t even speak the English language properly.
IT’S YOU AND NOT USE.
AND THERE’S NO SUCH WORD AS FUGLY.. UNLESS YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT RICKI JANUARIE OR BURGER, OR MAYBE YOURSELF.

South Africa you need to face the fact that Clyde Rathbone isn’t the only person leaving South Africa. To my understanding Clyde came to Australia at the end of 2002, the previous year South African citizens made up the 4th largest nationality to be granted Australian citizenship.
Vanessa raises a good point not only were the dodgy replies written disgracefully just look at the title….it’s not mommy, it’s mummy you idiots! Why must you bastardise everything, how hard is it to use a U, it’s only a couple of keys away.
South Africa stop being so bitter and twisted, Australia loves Clyde Rathbone and he has chosen to make Australia his home, just get over it already.

You’re all pathetic (The Australins that is) so I know Im a bit late in joining this discourse, but for fuck sakes your country is full of the worst kind of racist bigots around!!! How about that beauty Walker, He is so substantially uglier than Schalk, and Enrico, and then there is Sterling Mortlock who looks like an ape. Rathbone left SA, because he was Greedy. He is the worst kind of person a country could want. Oh, and YOU CAME STONE LAST IN THE TRI NATIONS LAST YEAR…STONE LAST. DIDNT WIN ONE MATCH. I can just laugh at you all. Super 14 is nothing compared to the International stuff, so when you decide to step up to the plate, your comments might be taken into account.

WHATEVER Rob, you South Africans can keep harping on the TriNations because that is the only thing you have. Super 14s are just as important as international matches, you just don’t think so because the South African teams SUCK. And the Super 14s involve teams from THREE COUNTRIES, which are the SAME THREE COUNTRIES THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THE TRI NATIONS.. so what makes the Tri Nations any different from the Super 14s? Arguably, you can look at the Super 14s being an expanded form of the tri-nations! But for argument sake, even if the Super 14s might not be anything compared to international stuff, from what I recall, at the last Rugby World Cup, AUSTRALIA CAME IN SECOND. So where were the Springboks then? Hmmmmm….THAT’S RIGHT, THEY LOST. THEY DIDN’T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE SEMI-FINALS… how embarassing. And the only reason why they made it to the quarters in the first place is because they were up against teams from non-rugby nations. The only matches they won in the world cup was against Uruguay, Georgia and Samoa! THAT HAS GOT TO BE EMBARASSING!
Yes, Australia went through a rough patch, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. But we will be the ones holding the tri-nations trophy and the 2011 World Cup, so BRING IT ON SPRINGBOKS. Btw, if you’re going to put in a post, it’s AUSTRALIANS and not AUSTRALINS and it’s STIRLING MORTLOCK and not STERLING MORTLOCK. Get your facts right or shut up and sit down.
AND BTW, ENJOY THIS TRI-NATION WIN, IT’S THE ONLY ONE YOU’LL BE GETTING IN A LONG LONG TIME.

Did anyone see that HUMILIATING LOSS to the Wallabies? Wasn’t it like the WORST SpringBoks loss EVER? And isn’t it the FIRST time that the Springboks had a ZERO score? THAT HAS GOT TO BE EMBARASSING! So put THAT in your pipe and smoke it, LUNGA, SOPHIE, and let’s not forget ROB. Oh, and in case you sore losers missed the match, the final score was 49-0 to the WALLABIES.

People, people, people!! Somehow I dont think any of you know much about rugby,or South Africa!
Vanessa – do you eat with that mouth??
We’ll leave the pretty boys to play for the Wallabies while the real rugby players (Scalk Burger IRB player of the year last year)play for The Boks.
To say that Super 14 is the same as tri-nations shows how ignorant you are – Super 14 sides are made up of contracted players from all over the show (how many Fijian and Samoan players are playing in Australia??),whereas tri-nations have the best players representing their country. For the record,Clyde left SA for AUS because he wasnt cracking it at The Sharks. Oh,and David Campese now living in Durban, married to a South African girl, from the same hometown as Clyde, involved with backline coaching at The Sharks, says hi !!

Vanessa – not too confident for the 2007 World Cup I see?? Like I said, dont dis Samoa too much because if you took all the Samoan,Fijian and Tongan players out of Australia, you guys wouldnt have any Super 14 sides!!

I am from Fiji, love Clyde, the Wallabies and the Africans Super 14? if i had to choose between the aussies and the africans…well, its the aussies. We have lots of Fijians playing for other countries and we wish them well!!! We dont attack them for choosing to play for another country.

I am South African and went to the same schools as Clyde Rathbone, he is a legend. As for calling him a spoilt brat, best you brush up on your rugby knowledge, clearly you’re talking through your *ss.
At least the Aussies saw his potential, compared to the Boks who were happy to leave him playing off the bench for the Sharks.
So get a clue and get a life!
Love the Aussies and love the Boks, bring on the World Cup its gonna be an epic.

Australians? What can I say a bunch of extradited convicts on an island. Rathbone played on the bench for the Sharks because he was simply not good enough!
Have him he suits your pride less society. In any case where will you be with an all Australian side? Not even a blip on the radar.
