Subtle public disapproval of Pick n Pay’s promotion of smoking
Posted on 21. May, 2010 by Jonathan Cherry.
It seems we’re not the only ones that disapprove of having to maneuver our way around this blatant smoking promotion every time we go to Pick n Pay. They consistently insist on making everybody entering the shop walk as close as humanly possible to it. This chick seems pretty happy toking on her electronic stick, but why we all have to be subjected to her enjoyment of nicotine is beyond us.
Well done to the kid that labeled it as we see it.
BTW – we’ve had a genius idea of marketing an electronic device that dispenses pure, vapourised, non-combustible tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] and call it the Goofed. It won’t harm anybody and you can merrily sit in a restaurant or at your desk at work and get completely stoned without anybody smelling your e-joint. Same thing as this really – so should be perfectly legal.
Pap en Wors: South African food innovation?
Posted on 06. Oct, 2009 by Jonathan Cherry.
Wouter sent us this distrurbing image of what appears to be a brand new South African combo food. Pap en Wors [...or, corn meal and sausage for our foreign friends] could be a cracker in certain circles – if it’s for real that is and not just a photoshop stunt.
Dit lyk moerse kak. [thanks Wouter & Steve]
