Springbok spice
We’re a little slow on the draw here, but all the same we’re rather enthralled with the idea of spicing a rack of ribs with Patrick Lamb spice.
We hear that Kiwi and Wallaby also tastes mighty fine with a combo of these spices. Don’t think the product actually exists, but there may be such a demand that it just might in time to come.
Moer hulle, bokke. Die poppe gaan dans!

More ‘meat dress’ viral advertising exploitation this time from Cape Town’s own NOMU.

NoMU packaging: Tasty

Some time ago we were sent a ‘sample box’ of products from NoMU. Since then we’ve spotted the South African brand in a gourmet store in Spain and have slowly but surely worked our way through the assortment of rubs – even sprinkling some on ice creeam to see how it panned out [it was ambitious we can report].

NoMu Hot Chocolate
Ok – so we often get sent gifts, addressed to the Cherryflava HQ. Not as many as we’d like, but we’ve got a hunch that may have something to do with the dodgy lifts in our building and the security personnel that don’t get paid too well.
We were pleased however to welcome a box of NoMu products that made it through the gauntlet to our door the other day. Thank goodness there was a sugar-free version of the hot chocolate included in the delivery as well – otherwise that flippin’ lift will stay broken far longer than we’d be comfortable with.
A quick thanks goes out to Paul Raphaely for inspiring our hot chocolate breaks during the day, and for spicing up our dinners even more at night.
