Hyundai 3D projection mapping
Posted on 13. Apr, 2011 by Jonathan Cherry.
You know the drill by now when it comes to 3D projection mapping – here’s what Hyundai did recently.
Nice clean lines on this one. It could be that it’s just filmed better than the other ones we’ve posted, but this one really pops out of the screen.

The ultimate World Cup car
Posted on 25. May, 2010 by Jonathan Cherry.
Forget about window flags and mirror covers, Hyundai have created the ultimate World Cup fan car.
Hyundai’s has commissioned two very special i10s to be built. Both the i10s are covered in artificial turf and the center circle on the roof is a home to a 1.5 meter tall foot ball. On the other, the both vehicle features goal post on the bonnet of the car that driver peers through. Additionally, the other exterior features include the soccer ball wheels and the football shoe mirrors. Coming to the interior, it features grass look that matches the exterior and right down to the soccer-ball headrests. [more here]
Expect the taxis here to start looking similar pretty soon too.
Hyundai: What would you trade for World Cup tickets
Posted on 20. May, 2010 by Jonathan Cherry.
Hmm – tell you what…we’re not too keen to trade anything for our World Cup passes, but we’re perhaps open to suggestions. If you promise to give him back after the tournament we might let you invite The Skim to a Grand Prix or two during the tournament, but then he’ll have to give you his tickets – not ours. He likes cars and men in shiny, logo-filled, tight suits. His eyes don’t usually move, but they do when he looks at that stuff.
The making of the Hyundai H1 TV commercial
Posted on 03. Nov, 2009 by Jonathan Cherry.
You may well have seen the Hyundai H1 tv ad and wondered how the hell they managed to pump thousands of litres of foaming water out of the back of a panel van.
Well, we were wondering and this morning the Jupiter Drawing Room sent over a disc containing the secrets of the shoot.
Looks like the mounted a huge funnel structure on top of the van, flooded the water through it and then erased all traces of the contraption in post.
