It seems like those involved with the Christian faith are really trying to modernize themselves like never before. Not only are they using current and up to date marketing strategies to increase their numbers, but they are also trying to spread the word by harnessing today’s current technologies as well.

No, we aren’t talking about those limiting DVD Bibles you see on the infomercials, but rather a new product out worldwide at the end of this week called Glo.

Glo is an online digital version of the bible and goes for about £59.99. It can currently be used on Windows PC, and will later be adaptable for Macs, and iPhones.

According to its website, the digital Bible allows you to “Experience the Bible like Never Before.” It has five categories to choose from consisting of a traditional text version of the bible, a timeline, an atlas explaining where biblical stories occurred geographically”, as well as a media section.

Some specs:
-Over 7500 encyclopedia articles
-463 virtual tours with 360 degree views detailing how certain historical cities looked in the past and present
-2,382 high res photos
-3.5 hrs of video
-147 zoomable maps
-689 works of art

Talk about a digital makeover!
