Designed by an agency called Africa
If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the new FIFA World Cup Brazil logo. Nice – very nice.

Look what they have done to our beloved vuvuzela. Why, oh why would you waste the potential of the sweet harmonious tune that our national horn gifts us in the name of a YouTube clip?
It’s shocking! Not safe for sensitive viewers.

Those strange symbols are back again, this time in the sky during the Portugal vs Korea DPR game at the Cape Town Stadium last week. Sky was too dark and full of water to notice anything similar last night.

The writing's on the wall
Poor ol’ England should have seen this one coming. The writing was on the wall when Nike insisted on putting up this pre-World Cup sculpture on Cromwell Road in London. It’s a rip off of that Mount Rushmore place in the US. Maybe if they’re rushed more they wouldn’t have gone down so horribly to the Germans.
Oh well – there’s always next time.

We have to see this for ourselves.
According to: It uses LED screens to create a video image on the Life Center building.
The image takes feeds in from Facebook, Twitter and Mxit – users get the opportunity to create the message that will be displayed on the building.
From the video it’s unclear as to how much playing you can do with the billboard, but it’s a great idea and something different for a city that deserves more of this kind of interactivity.

As long as he’s a good actor and can juggle the ball with his arms in the box, without the ref seeing [or caring for that matter], then hey – we can’t see why a 70 year-old can’t play for Brazil. It’s not like the game is fair or anything like that.
The only sport that seems to be filled with more deception and tricky is cycling, but then at least in cycling the fans seem to have better manners.

Some people [thankfully] have too much time on their hands. We dig the Telkom logos in this.
