Weirdly Levi’s have a new ad – promoting rioting

Strangely enough – Levi’s Europe have just launched a campaign which features somewhat menacing imagery of young people gathering, marching and confronting riot police, along with shots of stuff on fire. [via]
Coincidence? Obviously – you wouldn’t find advertisers clever enough to encourage the youth to burn stuff and generally cause social anarchy would you?
If you’d been paying attention – you’d have noticed that popular culture has been promoting anarchist behaviour for some time now.
Then again youth culture is all about rebellion.

signs of the time … in the 80′s early 90′s and Londoners were rioting… history simply repeating itself …(I was a-young-one in the 80′s but I was also wearing skinny jeans but alas no punk hairdoo, tattoo or piercings (although I wanted all 3) same as today-however this generation is less menacing than the 80/90′s…there seems to be more consciousness behind the riots now … it is worth looking into what is behind the thinking of the riot.
