Honesty – so hot right now

Ricky Gervais ‘het sy naam gat gemaak’ as the host of last night’s Golden Globe awards and at the expense of Hollywood. Everyone seems to be raving about the ‘refreshing honesty’ that was abundant during the course of his hosting duties.
We were busy watching the Seahawks getting drilled by the Chicago Bears at the time, but caught the opening monologue on the Interweb this morning.
We’re surprised the Americans even understand what he’s saying – or maybe it’s a bit like Die Antwoord, they just enjoy the tone of his delivery.

I often find him like this.
I think he did The Office, and was never able to get out of character.

Robert Downey Jnr’s intro the the best actress award also took the Golden Globes to a new level of hilarity.
