Troika’s LED raindrops

Collaborating with Swarovski [the crystal people], Troika have created and experience called ‘Falling Light’ an installation using 50 optically pure Swarovski crystal lenses to refract LED light beams into ethereal glowing droplets.

What movie stars get paid to sell you stuff

In this commerercial for Lavazza coffee – Julia Roberts was reportedly paid 1,2 million Euros. That’s over R11 million for a 45 second ad in which she doesn’t utter a word. She just sips coffee and smiles like a fembot.
Apparently Julia is very selective of the products that she appears in ads for. And we’re sure the R11 million may have helped considerably with that selection process. But hey… now you know.
