Life Inc: Why your life is owned by corporations

We did a presentation at CapeTalk a couple of weeks ago about one of our favourite marketing subjects; ‘fantasy reality’. The subject is perhaps a bit controversial for some in marketing circles, but if you’re going to kill a cow you’ve got to make a burger.
As a thank you – they gave us Douglas Rushkoff’s book, “LIFE INC. How The World Became A Corporation And How To Take It Back” as a gift.
Started the book last night, but as a teaser we found this short movie explaining the main focus of the whole thing.
We have a feeling that reading this book may be a bit like ‘the pill’ scene in the Matrix. But we’d rather know what it is, than not.
