I can’t hate. I think it’s clever. Woolworths blew it, it’s that simple, and Exclusive is only being prudent by capitalizing on it.

Don’t get me wrong. I completely agree that they have every right to change their merchandising mix. What I disagree with is how they lacked the backbone to stick to their decision when a few ‘social media savvy’ but probably ineffectual – in the bigger picture – individuals promised to boycott.
What Woolworths blew was not sticking to their position, and opting to have underperforming content take up shelving space that could be better used just because some people complained.
