Maybeline reckons woman just wanna shoot a Colt .45, drive a Ferrari and grow a ‘stache

We’re assuming that the agency that made this bizarre ad for Maybeline “The Falsies” Volum’ Express mascara were thinking that they had indeed used the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack as a backing track to this ad. But they obviously shot up with a bad batch of pure Afghan muddy goo and settled for the theme music for the 80′s classic TV series Magnum PI instead. It’s truly a disturbing combination of creative ideas that totally doesn’t make sense.
Maybe it’s aimed at mid- to late thirty year-old men with a fettish for mascara, Hawaiian shirts and surfski paddling.
Just to be sure – here’s that Magnum PI intro…
…and here’s the Charlie’s Angels tune… [the music that actually fits with the visuals...and the action woman]

Hahaha, I laugh whenever that advert comes on – too classic!
