Copy: Feel Inspired
It’s advertising because it was created by FoxP2, but…but…?
Feels like the punchline to a potentially brilliant joke was just delivered in Latin and we’re the only ones without an LLB in the audience. Please, somebody, deliver us from our ignorant, arrogant, poorly-educated hell in which we reside.
Update: Mystery solved. The answer is Paradigm Suicide [thanks Fred]. Through the enlightenment of literature the work represents the suicide of the old-self and the emergence of a more inspired, educated self. If we’re getting this much secondary bleeding just from the ads, we’d better get down to the shop and completely kill ourselves.

The books will blow your mind perhaps?

…but their heads look pretty much intact – and it’s scary not inspirational.

I wonder why they did three executions of exactly the same idea, might as well have done one really great execution?

Even with the LLB in the audience, its just stupid.

In agreement with Susan. (Fellow LLB).
They didn’t pull this off.

This is why these kind of sites suck, because the same human qualities appear every time: ignorance (come on guys, it\’s simple, books that are mind blowing), then bitterness (and often from the people have never made anything themselves), jealousy, pettiness and the range of qualities that never make for a great or stimulating read. Wow guys, go and do something with your lives, become the best at it, then start a site that disses stuff, you\’ll still be in the asshole ranks, but at least a respected one.

Mind blowing? We liked the Paradigm Suicide more.
If the ads were conceptualised to draw attention to Biblioteq and spark curiosity to go to the store – then they’ve done a good job by starting the conversation.
Perhaps a bit lateral for most, but on the other hand if they were just made to win awards then it shouldn’t matter too much if people understand them or not.

It’s a pity that agencies too often neglect their clients needs and use them only for winning awards. Sad, very sad.

From the client: These ads work.
They got you all taking.

Exactly – thanks Rotem.
Some people will love you, some will hate you – but you really have to worry when they’re indifferent.
