Pepsi wants to change the world

As intelligent as we are as a species, we do a pretty good job of stuffing things up. Pepsi have identified this fundamental flaw in our thinking and are putting their huge marketing muscle behind making things better.
The Pepsi Refresh Project is giving milions of dollars to funds great ideas that fix the world.
As you would expect from any campaign in 2010 – you submit and vote for your favourite entries on the Pepsi refresheverything website.
We personally think that a full season of The Peep Show will go along way to changing the world for good – so that’ll be our submission. Plus it wouldn’t hurt if people drank a little less Pepsi – just to lower the global aggro levels courtesy of the double sugar and caffeine combo. But that we guess goes against the idea of the campaign.
Grants range from $5000 – $250 000 throughout the year and the first voting session ends on February 28th. [thanks Izzie]

Packaging in grocery stores should be reusable. Purchased food packages should be able to be returned and money refunded. Package returns should be part of the grocery store itself. This idea could be later spread to all stores.
