Kleenex GetMommed: who’s YO mama?

With the North American cold and flu season almost in full swing, Kleenex and WPP have produced an ‘interesting’ new marketing campaign that offers people free online and mobile motherly love. Yes, we said motherly love [Raise eyebrows now].
Basically, the purpose of the campaign is to ‘nurture’ the nose blowers of the world just like their own mothers would.
With aid of a TV commercial, and the GetMommed website, Kleenex has urged people [of all ages] to choose their favorite online matriarch personality. With eight potential moms to choose from, personalities range from “Best Friend Mom”, “Sweet Mom”, and “Wise Mom”. AND if you don’t like your online mom, you can boot her out and choose one of the others to take her place at anytime [you shouldn't try this at home].

Yo Mama!
Potential ‘children’ are also asked to choose which services they want their online mommy to do [no unfortunately laundry/ironing isn’t one of them]. However, if you want, she will email or text you advice, try to “boost your confidence”, tell you the weather, offer cooking tips, remind you of things, wake you up, wish you a happy birthday, and even call to rescue you from a bad date. Don’t you just ‘love’ her already?
Apparently after 4 weeks of the campaigns launch, Kleenex has had over 20,000 registrations [clearly there’s a lot of mama’s boys in this world].
After taking the quiz, Kleenex has paired us up with Ana Maria a Latino mother who’s apparently a ‘wise soul’. Hopefully she’s not too much of a wise ass or we may have to move on. We’ll see how long she lasts.
