iPhone AR bicycle navigation thing

This is a brilliant hi-tech way to end your life.
How you end it all is that an iPhone attaches to your helmet via a mount; it’s connected to an eyepiece display that shows you navigation graphics; and when you turn your head, the iPhone’s compass, and the display, re-orients to follow suit. [via]
As an augmanted reality tool it would probably be pretty sick if the display was transparent, but riding a bike with one eye is not going to get you to an earthly destination in any particular rush.

This could also lead to a new crime of head-jacking where both head and helmets are removed with a swift movement from passengers in passing taxis and buses to obtain the free ipod.
