Voicebox robot getting ready to tell British MPs what’s what

Voicebot
If you thought that there were already enough robots in government, you’d better guess again. UK based company, Sidekick Studios has just developed a new one that’s preparing to change the way the British MPs think – one word at a time.
Before you start worrying about T1000′s taking over Gordon Brown’s office, don’t – all of this is part of the Voicebox program set up for the national young volunteers program in the UK.
By using a web-based visual survey, Voicebox have been able to gather a bunch of data built up of what the youth of the UK like, what they do, and what they believe in.

The Writing Voicebot
In a creative attempt to get these thoughts heard by those in power, Voicebox has created the Voicebot, a robotic arm built to write. In October of this year, The Voicebot, along with all of its messages is set to be placed in Parliament.
Those at Voicebox hope that by putting the thoughts and messages of the British youth right in their governments faces, that preconceived notions, and old ways of doing things will be changed.
Finally, wig headed, hoodie wearing MPs in parliament – sweet! We wonder if it will need to drive a One-Million Rand BMW.

No, we don’t think they do…if they did they’d probably break it.
