Check this out – In order to promote the re-opening of Bristol’s Colston [music] Hall this month, artist, Luke Jerram will be placing about 20 pianos around Bristol’s city streets and parks.
The concept is that any Beethoven wannabe can sit down and take their turn at tickling the ivories – AND hopefully gain a bit of attention from other passers by while doing so.

This isn’t the first time Jerram has used his public pianos to gain people’s attention. The ‘Play Me I’m Yours’ campaign has also been done in places like London, Birmingham, Sydney, and Sau Paulo.

According to his website, the Birmingham show had over 140,000 people playing or listening to his pianos.
Phew! Now that’s a lot of ‘Chopsticks’!
