Dan Brown takes up residency in Long Street

Instead of Heineken or some other alcoholic beverage brand advertising the infamous – and seriously expensive – billboard at the top of Long Street has been occupied by Dan Brown and his new book ‘The Lost Symbol‘.
Just goes to show what an absolute monster seller ol’ Mr Brown must be that even a sleepy hollow like Cape Town warrants such an extravagant media spend for a book launch.
It would be so cool if there really was a real key hidden somewhere near the thing, that opened one of the flats in the block, which linked everything to a bit of a mystery in itself. A dead prostitute or two, missing pimps, bags of strange electronic goods – all part of a regular night out in the big city.
