This remarkable advertising innovation was spotted last week in the traffic in Pretoria. On a day like today in Cape Town – there would be little chance of surviving a bike ride with a small nuclear-powered, electronic sign strapped to your back. But tough times call for tough men.

Dangerous distraction?

I find it clever and effective, even though a lot of people may find it distracting and dangerous. There are so many distractions on almost any streets around the world, so this one does not make a difference at all. Motorcycles are considered dangerous with or without advertisement, anyway. The driver is just making full use of his vehicle and the road too.
