Nakedness and wine – always a winning combination

From our experience, a bottle or two of Spice Route Malabar or Eagle's Nest Shiraz + sunset and fresh canapés usually result in extensive nakedness after their consumption. But the Joburg Wine Show have turned things around and are promising the T&A upfront.
From the press release we were kindly sent:
According to organiser John Woodward, the theme was in keeping with the philosophy of the show. “The Wine Show Jo’burg is about stripping away all the snobbery and pretentiousness surrounding wine. We were looking for a way to portray the fun and relaxed ambiance that has become the signature of this event and realised that the spirit of the show would be captured best in visual format. Once we embarked on that line of thought, the appeal of a photographic competition was evident,” mentions Woodward.
The competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers. Entries can be submitted online at www.getpix.co.za or www.wineshow.co.za from Monday, 2 March 2009. An entry fee of R50 will be charged and this will be handled electronically at the time of entry submission.
The subsequent calendars will be sold from the Getpix stand at The Wine Show for R100, with all proceeds going to breast cancer charities.
So there you have it. If you've always dreamed of appearing in Playboy, but couldn't be bothered with having to be nice to that old pervy guy, then this could be the break you were looking for.
After the disappointment of not entering the last amateur photographic gig, which we could well have won, if there are ladies who would like to get their kit off and submit an entry, but lack access to a decent photographer – we've been known to take a handy snap or two in the past. Get in contact and we'll offer our services gratis.
[thanks Raoul]
