Puma Ocean Racing branding: Acceptably hot

Looking like a mixture between a Prince music video and a Samantha Fox poster – we find the overall attractiveness of the Puma branding on this year’s racing machinery rather good.
A black 3D leaping cat on fire engine red background connected to a sliver of high-tech carbon fibre, which can go at a fair clip when the wind blows is a crafty way to sell a lifestyle brand.
According to Jonty Fisher, these little moving water billboards cost upwards of R125 000 each – which may seem like a lot, but in the world yachting ‘expense’ is a dirty word.
We took a few more snaps and posted them here. Unfortunately the wind was not blowing enough for the bladeriders to race – so you’re just going to have to use your imagination when it comes to action shots.
