After some mails and phonecalls with BMW Germany, I can say that this is definitly not an official campaign. It is just one idea of the Greek agency BBDO for a contest. And BMW is not amused. I used to work for BMW (MINI) and I think it’s about time that BMW does irreverant, unconventional ads like this. The fact that cherryflava put it on their website means you noticed it. I am sure you passed another 100 car ads this week that you didn’t even noticed. I would be interested to know if it was a local ad or international because I don’t think the German head office would have been this edgy! Beats all those ads of cars driving through the ‘winelands’! Ta Bigeye
