Apparently sometimes things happen during a game of basketball, which are not usually spoken about much after the game in the locker room.
And from the looks of it, if you play the game with Nike’s new range of Hyperdunk shoes, your opponents are going to be enjoying much more of you than they originally intended. Nasty [shudder].

Rui Esteves, the co-founder of mega South African caffeine juggernaut vida e caffe, gives a bit of interesting insight into the early days of the brand. Thanks to the Heavy Chefs who uploaded the video for sharing.
[BTW - there is another Heavy Chef session tonight '' featuring Andrew from and Fiona the founder of . Certainly one to get to if you can.]
With zero marketing budget, he and Brad used to print vida t-shirts and hand out free muffins in public long before the shops even opened as a kind of guerrilla marketing drive.
We also enjoyed these old ‘viral ads’ from their archive, which they shot way back in 2001 – long before anybody had even heard of anything being viral outside of their risky weekend behaviour.

We’re not too sure why we like this marketing idea done by a travel agency to encourage poeple to save money for a holiday [cause it's very lateral and a bit higher grade for the average plonker], but we do.
Zuji have embarked on a marketing campaign where they’re selling everyday products at ridiculously low prices. First up. tins of baked beans for just 10c.
In one week they apparently sold 10 000 tins of beans and helped thousands with their budgets to sit on the beach and bake.

Proof that just about anything can be sold as a luxury item are these fancy dog poo bags designed by Nina Dautzenberg and Andrea Gadesmann.
Why settle for picking up Fifi’s little landmines with a poxy old Checkers packet when you can stylishly whisk the joyful release away with one of these lavish poo bags.
Clearly some people have more money than they really should, but if there is a business opportunity in selling them something which they can use to communicate their financial freedom to others – we’re all for that.

After Cadel Evans lost this year’s Tour de France on the last time trial to a guy who is essentially a mountain climbing specialist, the Australian public are in search of a new latex hero to replace him.
Perhaps a better choice for next year is this guy, who as part of a marketing campaign for the TV coverage of the Tour, peddled each stage of the 21-day tour [from 8h00 to 16h00 everyday] on this stationary bike attached to a revolving billboard in Melbourne.
Now that the campaign is over, he’s going to be tested for EPO and abnormal levels of testosterone…just to make sure he’ll fit in with the rest of the peloton.

Now a Dark Whopper may stir some imaginative fantasies for many of you reading this post, but upon removing your mind out of the gutter you may be disappointed to know that a Whopper is in fact, just a burger. And a Dark Whopper is a special promotional burger, which Burger King have released just in time to associate it with the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight.
There’s just no denying the power of the dark side.

Bit of self promotion is that we cracked the nod to be interviewed by Jabulile Ngwenya from The Star newspaper for their Verve Technology supplement.
Great article [if we may say ourselves] and we’re just stoked they managed to really capture the essense of what it’s like to work in an office environment blessed with its own bowling alley.
Check it out..

buy lipitor online Masterlock – Tough Enough for Any Job
We hadn’t heard from those blokes at FoxP2 for awhile – that was until yesterday when one of them sent us these print ads for Masterlock, which are kinda different. Pretty useful if you park your bike anywhere in the city centre and value the idea of it still being where you left it upon your return.

The crew that hung, drew and quartered the Steers ad recently would be salivating blood at the prospect of getting their claws into this shocking virginal ad for 2nd-hand BMWs.
‘Shock and awe’, ‘Shock and awe’ – how could they? – but she’s so young – will they win a gold-plated statue which they can all cut lines of coke because of it?…..who cares.
The way most new BMWs get driven, it’s not likely that she’d look like this in anycase – so the ad is very misleading. Whatever happened to the mouse?

When the opportunity arises to sell products to over a billion new customers, it’s amazing how quickly things like human rights records and other forgettable political blah blah can easily be forgotten.
This year’s Olympic games is set to be the most marketed event of all time and big global brands can’t scramble fast enough to get a slice of the commercial cake. It’s so desperate – that most of them are running ads trying to convince the rest of us that supporting China is the best thing we can do.
