Keith Richards wax sculpture for Louis Vuitton

Keithrichards_1000x578

Our boy Keith Richards has been around since they first discovered rock art in the Kalahari. Not too often can we imagine him spending quality alone-time with a cuppa tea and a novel, but hey, that's the imagination of the art director in this Annie Leibowitz promo shot for Louis Vuitton.

We wonder how long an unrecognised Keith Richards would be allowed to browse in the new Cape Town flagship store before being subtly shown the door for not looking like he's worth anything.
Great shot even if Mr Richards does look like a wax version of himself.

I'm a little concerned about the possible fire hazard over the lamps, but the spyglass is a nice touch.

Hey there,

Love the blog.

Unfortunately, the new Louis Vuitton store in Cape Town is not a flagship store.
Also, Louis Vuitton would not deny customers admission to their stores even if they "looked like they were worth nothing".

Thank you.
