When product branding goes horribly wrong

Spotted while on a weekend road trip, proudly displayed at one of the Cape’s most popular farm stores….chocolate coated raisins branded as Baboon / Elephant / Ostrich [pick your beast] droppings.
Apart from a 5 year old with a natural fascination with animal poop. why would anyone pay to pop a chocolate baboon dropping into their mouths. A nasty misadventure into the world of confectionery branding.

Buagaga. My mind can’t realise that. Who is the producer of that chocolate shit?

well its just been featured here as a novelty.. and def stand out on the shelf as something different. think its aimed at tourists though – ive actually seen some POM’s going barking mad about the packaging…”ooooiii granny bella would love a box of these, how funny!”
i do agree though – its an interesting angle to take on packaging.
