I have un done knitting that Now has a possibility of making someone smile. None of this undone knitting could be made for anyone to actually wear. One is a Christmas stocking that I tried to turn into a red and blue dog sweater, that never got done.
I could wrap some really boring pole with my red and light blue and make a happy moment!
I did receive knitting for my kids when I was dirt poor and those people are angels.
So I am for both of these. some people cannot knit mittens that fit right but they might fit a rail somewhere!

pinkly….donating squares for blankets and knitting newborn caps is great. but does that mean no one should do this tagging? if you look at things that way, probably half of the things one does are not worth while. my guess is that you’ve never watched a movie, went to an art exhibit, listened to music, or spent time just sitting outside, or read articles on the internet about knitting because all of that time/money could have been spent doing nothing but charity work.

Because covering lamposts and mailboxes is better than donating squares for blankets or knitting caps for newborns. :/
