Simpsons movie promo stuff up for grabs on eBay

The marketing team from Fox are a crafty bunch. Even their spokesperson is named Gregg Brilliant (seriously).
In a masterful stroke – all the ‘props’ and momentos which were used to transform 7 Eleven stores into Kwik-e-Marts to promote the Simpsons Movie are now for sale to fans on eBay.
A search on eBay for “Kwik-E-Mart” yields more than 180 items, from a
$1.99 Squishee cup to a $200 Kwik-E-Mart shirt. The asking price for a
box of Krusty-O’s is $10, the same as for a six-pack of Buzz Cola.
When you can cover part of the costs of advertising by selling the props used to create the buzz – that has to make good business sense.
