Nobody needs to convince us about the power of experiential advertising – going forward there will be huge progress made in this sector.
VW have been playing around with a few experiential advertising ideas to give us a feeling of what it might be like to drive a VW.
This one above is a direct mail shot being a big poster of sky, which was sent to potential owners of the new Eos convertible. The idea is the stick the sky inside your existing car to give you a small idea of what it would be like to pilot the roofless Eos around. [via] [thanks Rich...!]
The ad above is more traditional, but tries to give viewers an idea – a feeling – a sense perhaps of what it feels like to drive a VW into the night. Backed up with a dedicated ‘night driving’ website, it’s a great angle to differentiate. [thanks Tasos] [via]
