Vino Volo – wine tasting in transit

Drinking and then taking control of a regular road vehicle may grant you a one way ticket to a romantic evening alone with Bubba, but last time we checked – sampling fine wines and then jumping on a airplane is still a-ok.
Vino Volo in the US [which is Italian for 'wine flight'] combines a high-end retail store with a sophisticated tasting lounge
and bar, allowing guests to taste wines in a comfortable setting. Vino
Volo serves high-end wines by the glass or in tasting flights. All
wines poured are also available for purchase by the bottle, allowing
travelers to purchase wines to take with them or have shipped to their
home.
Let’s face it – apart from slurping coffee and checking email via dodgy wifi hotspots, there’s frankly squat to do while waiting in transit. Perfect time to catch up on your Chardonnay lists.
